Two Titbits

Here's the 'wet man' cover for Lust at First Bite, which is good in the sense that BL in general seem to have gone back to random bits of women for most of the upcoming titles.

The other piece of news is that I'm over at Sedonia Guillone's blog today being interviewed. Hope you'll stop by and say hello.

I would comment on this, but it seems to be getting plenty of attention elsewhere, and between it and this, I'm already feeling narked.

That cover absolutelyt rocks! I have a wet man fetish so it's perfect! One of my favorite photos is one of the actor Takeshi Kaneshiro dripping with water. lol

Oooh, that pic is so hawt!!! It's gonna give me wet dreams. :o

I followed the links that you posted and read the ERWA article and frankly, other than like Erastes, in that I really didn't understand much of it, I did get that she was ranting on m/m writers. This stuff is all very interesting to me.

I happen to like it all: m/f, m/m, f/f, poly. I happen to like f/f a bit more because it's way more of a taboo for me and I'm more turned on by all that's taboo.

However since I don't understand many readers' aversion to f/f, it goes without saying that I don't understand a reader's aversion to m/m either. It's all a matter of personal preference and no person's preference is worse or better than another's.

What I hate is when others try to dictate or suggest what my turn- on's or squicks should be. It's no one's business. Bottom line.

Yeah, that picture of Takeshi Kaneshiro is rather lovely.

MB: I hear you and I'm with you. f/f has never really done much for me, it just doesn't have the same zing for me that other things do, so it's not my reading or writing material of choice, which is not to say that I haven't engaged in both.

Each to their own, I figure. The world would be very dull if we were all exactly alike.

Mostly, though I just object to being told how I feel about something.
